How we work together
A clear path from idea to finished work.
Good work starts with understanding each other. Our process gives you room to explore ideas, clear points for decisions, and a practical view of what happens next.

First, a conversation.
We begin with your business: what you do, who you want to reach, and what you would like your website, photographs or branding to achieve. We talk about what is working, what feels missing, your priorities and the budget you have in mind.
Meetings are by appointment. We can meet at your business, choose a convenient local meeting spot, or arrange an online conversation. Bring any existing logos, photographs, website links or examples you like. You do not need a finished brief to get started.
What we agreeA shared understanding of your goals, audience and priorities.
Stage 02
Find the right direction.
We turn the conversation into a creative direction. Depending on the project, this may include visual references, a proposed page structure, a photographic approach, colour and type choices, or early branding concepts.
These first ideas give us something concrete to discuss. We explain the thinking behind them and ask for your response, so the direction reflects your business before we develop the details. The number and type of concepts are agreed as part of the project scope.
What we agreeA direction you understand and are comfortable moving forward with.
Stage 03
Agree on scope, pricing and approvals.
Before the main work begins, we set out what is included in a written proposal: the deliverables, agreed creative direction, expected stages, responsibilities and project price. We identify the content or access needed from you and the points at which your approval will be requested.
The proposal also sets out the payment arrangement and included revision allowance. Costs such as domains, hosting, paid software, licensed imagery or ongoing support are identified where they apply. If a new request changes the agreed scope, we discuss its effect on price and timing before proceeding.
What we agreeAn agreed proposal and a clear go-ahead before production.
Stage 04
See the work take shape.
With the direction approved, we move into production. That might mean creating photographs, refining a visual identity, building your website, or bringing these elements together. Website work includes the visible design and the technical details that support it.
We share work at agreed review points through your private VANBREDA workspace. You can follow the project stages, upload ideas and material, leave notes on individual items and see what happens next. We will notify you when new work is ready for your attention.
What we agreeVisible progress, with opportunities to review the work at useful stages.
Stage 05
Review, refine and approve.
We ask you to look at each review stage as a whole and send clear, consolidated feedback. That helps us understand what needs to change and keeps the design consistent. We work through revisions included in the proposal and confirm any requests that fall outside the agreed scope.
Approvals are a shared checkpoint. We confirm the direction, wording, imagery and key details with you before moving to the next agreed stage. For a website, this includes reviewing the experience on desktop and mobile, not just the appearance of one page.
What we agreeAgreed refinements and approval of the work before completion.
Stage 06
Finish well, then plan what comes next.
Before completion, we bring the agreed details together for a final review. For a website, that includes checking page content, navigation, links, contact forms and mobile layouts. We address final changes within the agreed scope and obtain your approval before launch or final delivery.
We then arrange the relevant files, website access and any agreed guidance. The exact handover, revision allowance and any support after launch are set out in your proposal. If you want additional pages, new photographs or other changes later, we can discuss a separate update. This gives you a clear starting point for the next stage of your business.
What we agreeAn approved delivery, a clear handover and agreed next steps.
Our custom-built client portal
A clearer view of your project.
Good communication is part of good design. That is why we designed and developed the VANBREDA client portal: a private, web-based workspace that brings your project stages, previews, conversations and approvals together.
Whether we are creating your brand identity, photographing your products or developing your website, you can follow the same clear process. Sign in through our website with your registered email address and a one-time code, then see where your project stands and what happens next.

01 / Progress & next steps
Know where things stand.
See the current stage, the agreed project brief and your next action. When work is ready for your attention, an update brings you back to the right place. You can also upload ideas, reference images and other material throughout the project.

02 / Feedback & approvals
Your feedback, kept with the work.
Open a preview or attachment, add notes and choose whether to approve that version or request changes. Conversations and decisions stay with the relevant work, so everyone has a shared record of what was reviewed and agreed.

A project record you can return to.
Earlier versions, conversations and recorded approvals stay together. After completion, your project becomes a read-only record, with the agreed work and decisions available for reference.
A considered approach to pricing
Priced around the work you need.
Photography, branding and websites vary in scope. We prepare a proposal around your goals, the work involved and the deliverables you need. There are no fixed package prices listed here.
We discuss the budget early, explain what is included and identify any additional or ongoing costs. Revision arrangements, payment stages and timing are agreed for your project before work proceeds.
